SPEAK UP for the rights of People Living with HIV
Know & get your rights!
As part of the first phase of the Speak Up project (2015-2016), 50 PLHIV reported various violations to their rights in multiple settings: healthcare, family and friends, community, workplace, and governmental settings. During the second phase of the project (2017), the Speak Up team documented 18 new cases of violations against the rights of PLHIV. All participants were provided with psycho-social, medical, and/or legal support based on their needs.
