SIDC at the graduation of 34 civil society organizations and 14 national trainers from USAID

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SIDC participated in the graduation ceremony organized by USAID, through the Building Alliances for Local Advancement, Development and Investment Capacity Building Project (BALADI CAP), wehre 34 Lebanese civil society organizations (CSO) completed the rigorous Capacity Building for Civil Society Organizations (CBC) training program. 

 The graduation was held in the presence of Bruce McFarland, Acting Mission Director for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Lebanon, along with the 100 CSO representatives. During the event, Mr. McFarland announced the launching of eleven advocacy grants, valued at $780,000, to civil society organizations that took part in the CBC training process.

The CBC program represents a comprehensive, two-year training process that covers such topics as financial management, organizational governance, monitoring and evaluation, fundraising, and public communication.

He emphasized the importance of promoting good governance not only among organizations but also at the different governmental levels in order to pave the way for social change and contribute to a more stable, prosperous country.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
