For a Healthier community Booklet
This booklet was written by frontline workers. Frontliners are community health workers who have a close understanding of their community and the geographical areas. Due to this trusting relationship, they are the liaison between health services and the community to facilitate access and improve the quality and competence of service delivery. Frontliners have received extensive trainings and are competent to build individual and community capacity by increasing health knowledge through outreach, community education, in-
formal counseling and advocacy.
The development and publication of the booklet has been made possible with the support of UNICEF and with the funding of Japan.
