Community-led Monitoring of Human Rights Barriers to HIV Services through REACT in Lebanon

The following document presents the results generated from the usage of the Rights-Evidence-ACTion (REAct) tool developed by Frontline AIDS and used by Society For Inclusion and Development in communities and Care for all (SIDC) and seven other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Lebanon, which are members of the Lebanese AIDS National Association (LANA) and sub-sub recipients of the multi-country Global Fund grant titled “Sustainability of Services for KPs in MENA”.

REAct is a community-based human rights monitoring and response programme which aims at documenting and responding to human rights’ barriers related to HIV and experienced by individuals who access HIV-related and other health services.

Between the years 2020 and 2021, a total of 150 cases were reported on the WANDA platform, from whom 142 cases registered for support.
