On June 29 2018, at Padova Hotel, SIDC invited a group of CSOs and international agencies to attend a workshop titled: “Safety and Security Toolkit: Strengthening the Implementation of HIV Programs For and with Key Populations”.
This Workshop was funded by the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and USAID under the “OHA Prevention Programme”
The toolkit was developed by the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and USAID under the “OHA Prevention Programme” and launched in March 2018.
“This toolkit describes the safety and security challenges faced by key population programs, details the impact of such challenges on the HIV response, and identifies promising practices and makes recommendations to help mitigate and respond effectively to safety and security challenges in programs for and with key populations.”
17 participants were present and discussed challenges and lessons learned about Safety and Security of the Implementation of HIV Programs For and with Key Populations.
